Windows 10’s second big update, dubbed the “Anniversary Update”, is finally here.
This is a huge update that touches every corner of the operating system.
The demonic threat has been banished from the battle-scarred fields of Azeroth, but peace is still a distant dream.
Now the war rages on, with more units, more missions, and more explosive strategic combat.
There's also a new pin that's exclusive for cosplayers, which can be shown off on your Steam profile. The meat of this update was a change to the new player experience to try to make it less of an eternal hell for people just getting into one of the world's most complex games. Another small patch has released for Dota 2, containing a host of bug fixes and some UI improvements. On top of The International 2017, Valve are hosting an All-Star match, in which tournament viewers vote on their favourite players to make up a dream team.
Detailed talents now show up on the Guide panel, for a start. These will then face off in a 5v5 Captains Mode match at The International, and the winning All-Star team will walk away with a 0,000 prize.
Today's update mostly focuses on bug fixes, but Valve have announced improvements to input latency.
There's also been a tweak to Tiny, stopping his Toss from cleaving buildings. In today's updates, several heroes are getting attack speed and movespeed modifiers - new animations that trigger when these stats reach a certain threshold.
